Atlas Curriculum Writing Workshop - NJ

In this opening session, we’ll discuss the evolving trends in curriculum development and share key tips for setting your curriculum writing up for success in Atlas. Learn how to leverage Atlas features to enhance alignment and streamline your writing process.

Taking the time to unpack them into specific learning goals will help curriculum writers and teachers better define what students should know and be able to do by the end of a unit. In this session, participants will learn how to unpack standards to ensure clear and effective instructional design.

AI is transforming the landscape of teaching and learning, with educators and students at various stages of adoption. In this session, discover how AI can be used within Atlas to generate ideas and streamline the curriculum development process.

• Examine examples of big ideas and essential questions that guide student learning

How can we design learning experiences that are accessible and meaningful for all learners? In this session, we will explore this question through the lens of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and discuss how UDL principles can guide us in creating units and lessons that meet the diverse needs of all learners.
